One of Builtwell Fence Company's Latest Projects was participating in an Extreme Makeover Home Edition for a local family here in Massachusetts. The show will be aired on May 11th at 8pm.
The Family: March 26, 2006 was supposed to be one of the best days of their lives. Already blessed with two children, Paul and Renee Giunta gave birth to their third child, Brianna. As Paul was driving their two sons to visit mom and Brianna in the hospital, they were involved in a serious single-car accident. While the children were ok, Paul was not. Not expected to live, Paul fought through four brain surgeries and will require a wheelchair and walker for the rest of his life. To read the full story, visit the official website for the project by clicking here.
The Problem: After the accident, things went downhill. Paul was out of work, and Renee needed to be home with the children. Their home began having problems - broken water pipes, faulty electrical, huge ceiling cracks, and more.
The Miracle: In August of 2007, the town of Maynard held a rally to get the Giunta's onto Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It worked. Starting on Friday, February 22, 2008, the Giunta family will be getting a brand new home courtesy of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Jeanson Homes, and Fenton Contracting.
